Pinnacle Intl. Deliver a Late Christmas Present to Toronto

Back in August we announced that Pinnacle International had made one of the largest land acquisitions in the history of Toronto with the purchase of 1 Yonge Street for an incredible $255 million.  Condo geeks immediately started punching numbers in to determine how many toweres were required to justify the $255 million price tag, suggesting that 2x or 3x 80-100 storey buildings would be required to make it work.

Well, Urban Toronto forum member cogito ergo has released images of what is believed to be an early look at multiple towers with the tallest standing 98 storeys.

Yes, you read that correctly: 98 storeys.

It is further suggested that there will be four towers standing 70 storeys, 70 storeys, 92 storeys and 98 storeys.

The last few months have seen multiple super tall rumours and proposals including the Metro Toronto Convention Centre redevelopment (2x 70 Storey Towers each standing over 1,000ft), Minto’s 69 storey project in Yorkville and the Mirvish+Gehry collaboration at King & John (3x 80-85 storeys towers).

Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available!
