Toronto Approve Port Lands $1.9 Billion Revitalization

Hot on the heels of news that the City approved a revitalization of Ontario Place comes another enormous revitalization approval: a 30 year, $1.9 billion make over of the Port Lands.

The Portlands located South of the Don River Park

Waterfront Toronto has been heavily involved in the revitalization of West Don Lands (which will feature condominium projects River City 1 & 2, the brand new Pan Am Athletes village and Canary District, Underpass Park and the brand new Don River Park), East Bayfront (featuring condominium project Monde, a new George Brown campus, Corus Entertainment headquarters and much more still to come).

The Port Lands will be a collaboration between the City, Waterfront Toronto and the Toronto Port Lands Company.

Current view of the Port Lands

The Port Lands revitalization is arguably the most exciting redevelopment in the entire city of Toronto and will include 8,700 housings units, office and retail space and a 375 room hotel.

We are very excited to see more details and proposals for this site.  Stay tuned!
