Canderel Tie Up Downtown Yonge Site

Those who know me know that Canderel are one of my favourite developers in Toronto.  They consistently work on great sites and build incredible condominiums that have a terrific track record of maintaining their value.

DNA3 – Canderel’s most recent ultra-successful project

Who are Canderel? Well, you’ve probably heard of condos called DNA3 (Ranked #2 in the best sales for 2010, only behind One Bloor) which is scheduled for completion in 2013, and Aura (The tallest residential tower in Canada) which is currently under construction and scheduled for completion in 2012.

Aura – College Park Phase 3: 75 Storeys make it the largest residential tower in Canada

Canderel have also been involved in some of Toronto’s most popular developments over the last 10 years, including (but not limited to) DNA 1 & 2 in King West, College Park Condos Phase 1 & 2 at Bay & College and Massey Harris Lofts – arguably the best conversion project in the entire City.

761-763 Bay Street – otherwise known as College Park Condos.  Canderel’s developments located at Bay & College remain among the most popular developments on the resale market

It’s no secret, Canderel are one of our favourites.  It was recently announced that Canderel have purchased a new site at 460 Yonge Street located just North of Yonge & College.  This is a huge coup for Canderel. This is a Triple A site in Toronto that Canderel can work wonders with, and is located just steps from the College Subway Station.

The development is located a block North of Aura (which was College Park Phase 3).  It is unknown whether or not this development will form part of the “College Park Residences” as Phase 4 or whether it will have it’s own identity.  With Aura standing a whopping 75 storeys, we are very very excited to see what Canderel have in store for this prime piece of land!
