Why? For all the reasons listed below.
The Eglinton LRT is going to be a game changer for this neighbourhood and it will spur on huge development at this important transit hub and key intersection for Toronto.
2. Yonge Street Projects Are Increasingly Rare
Yonge Street is the centre of Toronto and the condos closer to Yonge are considered more desirable because of proximity to key transit. As Yonge Street corridor is getting developed, Yonge Street projects are getting very rare and continue to stay in high demand.
3. Brand New Eglinton LRT Opening in 2021
The LRT is the brand new transit line that is currently under construction and will open in 2021 (2 years before Y&S is completed).

We often look at land values as a key indicators to what future projects will launch at.
With the new LRT opening in just a few years, we can see that developers today are betting big on the future of Yonge & Eglinton and at these land prices, we can see that values in the coming years will be significantly higher than today.
Y&S Condos located in the booming Yonge & Eglinton neighbourhood at the North East Corner of Yonge & Soudan (2161 Yonge Street) and will replace an existing office tower.
About Y&S Condos
Y&S Condos will be a mixed use 35-storey building designed by Graziani & Carozza Architects which will include a 6-storey base building containing a mix of retail (ground level) and over 80,000 sq.ft. of office space on floors 2-6. The proposal calls for 155 parking spaces on 4 levels of underground parking.
The residential tower will begin on the 8th floor and will contain 288 condominium suites with the following suite mix:

Y&S Condos is expected to be completed in 2023.
