Toronto’s building boom has seen the average height of new towers increase dramatically with new towers in core areas reaching dizzying heights. While condominium projects in the pipeline under proposal are going to tower above what is already under construction, the current line up is nothing to scoff at.
Below are the tallest condominiums currently under construction in Toronto.
➊ One Bloor Condos
One Bloor is a condo complex skyscraper located in Downtown Toronto at the intersection of Bloor and Yonge Street. The towering building was at 76 storeys in late 2015, measuring in at 257 metres (843 feet). The building design was led by Hariri Pontarini Architects, an award-winning architectural firm based in Toronto with projects located across Canada. The condo building’s convenient location at Bloor and Yonge is close to upscale restaurants like Ginger, Korean Grill House, Big Smoke Burger, 7 West, and Aji Sai. Nearby shopping on the “Mink Mile” includes high-end luxury stores like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Prada.

This new condo complex is located at 16 York Street in Toronto’s Financial District. This new condo complex is the last project to be located along the Etobicoke Humber Shores Development area on the waterfront of Toronto. 488 University Condos is a new condo complex under construction at 488 University Avenue in Downtown Toronto. Officially called the Residences of 488 University, this new condo development is slated to rise 207-metres tall with 55 floors and 453 luxury condo suites. The building is conveniently located within walking distance of the city’s Financial District, the Bay Street Corridor, Ryerson University and the University of Toronto, and is mere steps to the Entertainment District.
