Top 5 Fall Condo Launches for 2013

1. 460 Yonge Condos by Canderel (Register for Priority Access Here)

Canderel are one of the most celebrated developers in the City.  They are responsible for some of the most sought after condominiums in the city including College Park Condominiums (761 & 763 Bay Street), DNA 1 & DNA 2 (1 Shaw & 1005 King West) and are currently in the final stages of completing the tallest residential condominium in Canada (Aura – 78 Storeys).

While specific details for 460 Yonge are currently unavailable, the combination of a Triple A location (Yonge & College, just seconds from the College Transit Line) and Canderel make this one difficult to overlook.  Expect 460 Yonge to be one of the hottest and fastest selling projects this fall.

2. Smart House Condos by Urban Capital (Register for Priority Access Here)

Smart House is located at Queen & University just steps to the Osgoode Subway Station.  The site is located nearby the popular Shangri La Hotel and just north of “Boutique Condominiums” where Urban Capital made their name in Toronto.

Again, limited information is currently available for Smart House but Urban Capital are known for their forward thinking design (think River City and Tableau) and aggressive pricing.  This is one to watch.

3. Garrison Point Condos by Cityzen (Register for Priority Access Here)

Garrison Point checks all the right boxes for a terrific investor project.  Cityzen are no strangers to “multi-phase projects” and enjoyed enourmous success in Mississauga with “Absolute World” – a 5 condominium multi phase project.

Garrison Point will be similar in scope to Absolute World but will be a master planned community that will also include brand new retail and commercial space within the new neighbourhood.  The opportunity to invest in the first condominium tower in a multi phase project represents huge upside to investors who will be able to benefit from the relatively low pricing.

4. High Park Condominiums by Daniels (Register for Priority Access Here)

The High Park neighbourhood is considered one of the most “livable” neighbourhoods in Toronto.  Boasting transit access, an incredibly lively community, a coveted Bloor West address and some of the best views anywhere in Toronto, High Park Condominiums has been one of the most requested projects on TalkCondo.

The project is located immediately north of High Park and will be developed by Daniels with an expected launch of Mid September.

5. E Condominiums Phase 2 by Bazis (Register for Priorty Access Here)

The first phase of E Condominiums is currently over 90% sold and is located on the north-east corner of Yonge & Eglinton.  The site is particularly interesting for investors as construction on the Eglinton LRT is underway.  The new transit line that will eventually connect Pearson Airport to Scarborough (and cut through Yonge & Eglinton) will turn Yonge & Eglinton into a transit hub for Toronto.

The new transit line has in turn, sparked new investment into the neighbourhood from major companies who see the potential of Yonge & Eglinton to rival Yonge & Bloor as one of Toronto’s most important intersections.
