Pearson-Union Rail Link to Begin Construction in Spring

An express line connecting Canada’s biggest airport to Downtown Toronto’s Hub will begin construction in Spring 2012, as detailed by Dalton McGuinty.  The new express line will be a 25 minute ride from the Airport to Union Station.

We believe that our transit system needs a LOT of work, and this is a step in the right direction.

The rail link is to begin construction this spring with the hope of being completed in time for the Pan Am Games in 2015.  We have talked in detail about the significance of the Pan Am Games in Toronto and strongly believe there is huge investment opportunities in and around Pan Am Village in the East Side of Toronto (specifically with the project River City 2).
